Orange Pie

Dough:
200 g margarine
200 g sugar cane
1 tsp cinnamon
1grated lemon peel
250 g wheat flour wholemeal
1 baking powder
250 g ground walnuts
1 pinch of salt

Filling:
170 g orange jam

For Dusting:
1 tbsp icing sugar

Preparation
Cream margarine with sugar and cinnamon. Wash the lemon and grate the rind. Stir in the lemon zest, the flour mixed well with the baking powder, the ground walnuts and the salt.
Cover a 28 cm tin with two thirds of the dough. Spread the orange jam on it.
Roll out the remaining dough and cut into narrow strips. Put them over the cake like a grid. Bake at 170 °C for about 25-30 minutes.
Sprinkle the slightly cooled cake with icing sugar.
