“The bake sales organized on two consecutive days by the Romanian Vegetarian Society were a big success...We had incredibly positive reactions and feedback from the public, and we were very happy to see lots of kids and in general people of all ages at the bake sale.” Offerings included pineapple-walnut muffins, apple pie, vanilla cake with berry custard frosting, fresh-baked bread, and fresh-squeezed juice.

The Compassion for Animals bake sale at the Potomac Adventist Book & Health Food Store worked out great: a steady stream of customers, delicious pies, sweet and savory breads, cookies, cupcakes and other baked goods from area bakers, and lots of friendly conversations with people who were curious about veganism and vegan baking.

There was a ton of mouth-watering delights from local bakeries and talented amateur bakers at the Compassion for Animals vegan bake sale at the Falls Church Community Center. Sales were brisk, the day was sunny, and a good time was had by everyone!
